President's Message

Brad N. Hall: Pike County Chamber President/CEO

Dear Chamber Members and Friends,

Welcome to the Pike County Chamber online. We hope you find the information here useful to your business or to finding out more about the wonderful county we live in, nestled in the hills of eastern Kentucky. Having joined the Chamber in April of 2007, I had big shoes to fill, as former President and CEO Kitty White Baird did a marvelous job for many years to build the Chamber and to assist with economic development of Pike County.

I hope to only build upon the many successes the Chamber has seen in the past few years, hoping to integrate technology into our services, to provide more benefits for our members, and to do all we can to assist current and new businesses in every way possible.

My continued focus is on Chamber membership, so together, we can find out the steps we need to take in order to be the most effective tool possible for our Pike County businesses. We want all of our Chamber members to be involved as we continue this journey together.

I would like to thank the Chamber Board of Directors and Selection Committee for having faith in me to be selected for this position. I consider it a true honor. I love Pike County and our business community and I am dedicated to making the Pike County business network even stronger than it already is. One of the ways to make our network stronger is through our Chamber Volunteer Program. We have many areas where you can serve as a volunteer such as the Membership Committee, Hillbilly Days Committee, Education Committee, Economic Development Committee, Work Ethic Award Program, and much, much more. Our volunteer program is the backbone of our organization’s success and a fun way that you can get involved with our Pike County community.

I would also like to personally invite everyone to attend our many events that are highlighted monthly on this website. From the Town Hall Forum series to the Annual Awards Ceremony, we hope to keep Pike County business leaders and employees informed and involved.

Lastly, I would like to recognize Debbie Clevinger, Pam Mullins, and Jessica McCoy Sargent, our full-time Chamber staff. These ladies do a marvelous job and I am thrilled to be working with such wonderful, hard-working individuals. They, too, are always more than willing to help you with any needs you may have, and I thank them for the good job that they do daily.

If you have any questions at all regarding the Pike County Chamber, membership, or if you would just like to share suggestions or ideas, please feel free to contact me at any time at brad.hall@pikecountychamber.org or 432-5504. I would also be happy to come and meet with you at your place of business at a time that is convenient for you in order to see how we can serve you better. Thank you again for the faith you have shown in me and for the future we can build together. And, I hope you enjoy our web site!

Sincerely,

Brad N. Hall

President/CEO Pike County Chamber of Commerce
